He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Meester and Gertrude Meester (Hinrichs); his daughter Reda Meester; his grandchildren, Andrew Meester and Erica Southern (Eernisse); and his siblings, Elizabeth Grote, Gertrude Williams, Jake Meester, Henry Meester, Doris Kramer, Katherine Flynn, Frank Meester, Jr., Delaine Grenewold, Burdell Meester, Gary Meester and Dennis Meester.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Meester; his children, Sandra Eernisse (Leon) of Bloomington, IN, Lee Meester (Andrea) of Cokato, MN, Jay Meester (Paulette) of Ivanhoe, MN, Chad Meester (Elizabeth) of Ivanhoe, MN and Christie Tussing (Thomas) of Waverly, MN; his grandchildren, Amanda Sutherland (Jeremy), Madelynn Tussing and Lane Tussing; his great grandchildren, Brodi Southern, Dillon Southern, Tony Sutherland, Ryan Sutherland, Davey Sutherland and Heather Sutherland; his sisters, Connie Wendt of Petersburg, TN and Margaret Odenbrett of Adrian, MN; and his sisters-in-law, Barb Meester, Judy Meester and Nan Meester. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
