He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Merlin Rost and Irene Rost (Josephson); his daughter Tami Jo; his pet Zoey; his grandson Tate; his wife Vickie Rost of Ivanhoe; his daughter Jennifer VanOverbeke (Troy) of Hartford, SD; his grandchildren, Jada, Tessa, Taten Thomas and Tami (Aaron); his great grandchild Grace; his brothers, Merle Rost (Sherry) and Clyde Rost (Wendy); and his siblings-in-law, Jan Lenz, Lois Gerber (John), Larry Lenz (Debbie) and Brian Lenz (Pat).
Family prefers memorials to be directed to Avera Marshall Cancer Center and Sanford's Ava's Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD.
