It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allan LeRoy Bratrud of Jackson, Minnesota, born in Graettinger, Iowa, who passed away on April 22, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Bratrud and Verna Bratrud (Allen); his son David Bratrud; and his sisters, Donna (Gaylord Olsen), Marlys (Dave Macomber) and Judy (Rodney Olson).
He is survived by: his spouse Ardyce; his children, Dennis Bratrud (Michelle) of Jackson, Doug Bratrud (Evangelane) of Jackson and Dawn Kortuem (Kevin) of Duluth, MN; his grandchildren, Matt Bratrud (Jess) of Harrisburg, SD., Brittany Bratrud (Delaney Stevens) of Jackson, Heather Lueck (Jonathen) of Jackson, Elijah Meium-Bratrud of Sioux Falls, SD, Helena Meium-Bratrud of Jackson and Isaiah Meium-Bratrud of Jackson; and his great grandchildren, Hazel, Harper, Henry and Malakai.
In lieu of flowers memorials in Allan's Honor may be made to Jackson County DAC, Disabled Veterans, Our Savior's Lutheran Church Jackson, or Temperance Lake Ridge in Sherburn.
