He is survived by: his wife Gin Sether; his children, Brian Sether of Jackson, Cheryl Bass (Jim) of Jackson, Denise Ryberg (Steve) of Jackson and Eric Sether of Worthington; his grandchildren, Brittany McLennan (Logan), Kassi Pierce (Tyson), Brandi Barrie (Jared), Brady Bass, Haley Bass (Tyler), Courtney Blesi (Michael) and Logan Ryberg; his great grandchildren, Mila, Liara, Luka and Kaila; his brothers, Ronald Sether of Fresno, CA and Richard Sether of Jackson; and his siblings-in-law, Bev Carlson (Art) of Odin and Roger Pabst of Redwood Falls.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorial donations in memory of Irv are preferred to Hauge's Cemetery Association or Bethel Mennonite Church.
