With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Joseph Macek of Jackson, Minnesota, who passed away on June 6, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Macek and Kathryn Macek (Brennan); and his brothers, Fran Macek and Milo "Buddy" Ballard. He is survived by: his wife Connie Macek of Jackson, Minnesota; his sons, Mark Macek (Alexandra) of Florsheim and David Macek (Christine) of Jackson, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Matthew Schultz, Marcus Schultz (Aimee), Mitchell Macek, Eric Macek and Ryan Macek; his great grandchildren, Maxwell Schultz, Raelynne Schultz and Harrison Schultz; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Johannson (Kent) of Jackson and Margo Ballard of Sherburn, Minnesota. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
