He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Hample and Mary Hample; his wife Darlene Reineke of Lakefield, MN; his children, Kenneth and Kim; his son-in-law Wayne Nesmoe; and his sister Lorna Bader (Jean).
He is survived by: his children, Kenny and Karen Pennaz (Steve) of Ennis, MT; his daughter-in-law Angela Hample of Spencer, IA; his grandchildren, Colt Hample of Dickson, TN, Brent Hample of Carroll, IA, Adam Hample (Holly) of Lakefield, Catarina Hample of Spencer, IA and Madeline Richards of Ennis, MT; his great grandchildren, Darin, Zander, Evelyn, Dottie, Calvin, Zadkiel, Olivia and Chase; his sister-in-law Irene Anderson; his nieces, Sharon Jacobsen (Don) and Deb Lewis (Kyle); and his cousin Jerry Mellum.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Richard's honor to the Jackson Fire Department Relief Association.
