He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Edward and Twyla Ethel Mier (Zimmerli); and his siblings, Walt Mier, Linda Cassens, Janice Cihak and John Mier.
He is survived by : his sons, Roger Mier (Anna) of New Hope and Neil Mier (Sarah) of Berthoud, Colorado; his grandchildren, Rowan and Oren; his sister Ruth Malone; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Cihak and Bob Cassens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
