With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sommay Bounsavang of Jackson, Minnesota, who passed away on April 1, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Phoud Bounsavang and Nang Bounsavang; and his son Pramouane Bounsavang. He is survived by : his wife Synouane Xaychaleun; his daughters, Khammouane Holeton (John) of Sioux Falls, SD and Homhouane Bounsavang (Jimmy) of Jackson, MN; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Nikkie, Annalisa, Myesha, Alana and Cooper; his great grandchildren, Paisley and Kenzlie; and his siblings, Outhay Bounsavang, Souvanh Bounsavang, Onchanh Bounsavang and Bay Maysou. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
