He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schultz and Mary Schultz (Troska); his wife Angeline Rathai; his son Daniel; his siblings, Phillip, Clem (Janet), Dorothy Horvat (Steve) and Mary Florence; his granddaughter-in-law Lori Carda; and his son-in-law Mike Holleran.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis (Brenda), David, Ann Carda (Bob), Mark (Karen), Carol Holleran, Jim (Marcia), Julie, Connie (Gerry Hutton) and Sue McGowan (Will); his daughter-in-law Theresa Schultz; and his brother Norbert Schultz (Margaret). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 27 great‑grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Saint Ann Catholic Church or the Janesville Area Foundation.
