He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Elwin Brands (Norma) of Edgerton, Linda DeWeerd (Brian) of Garvin, Wayne Brands of Beaver Creek, Darwin Brands (Janine) of Luverne, Verlyn Brands of Kenneth and Cheryl Fey (Michael) of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Anita Brands, Austin Brands (Mary), Adam Brands (Amber), Danielle Gylling (Jason), Joni Meyer (Josh), Nicole Holmquist (Shawn), Lindsay Weber, Alison Willers, Tyler Brands, Katelyn VanAartsen (Mark), Nathan Brands, Amanda Hoffenkamp, Jessica Brands, Cassondra Yonzon, Bailey Fey (Brooklyn), Courtney Piepho (Jaustin) and Keegan Fey; and his siblings, Rolena Dooyema, Hank Brands (Marlene), Harry Brands (Marilyn) and Bernie Brands (Susan).
