It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Bernice Volkmann of Jordan, Minnesota, who passed away on June 5, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Abner Hauge and Mabel Hauge; her husband Dennis Volkmann; her daughter Barbara Markegard; and her siblings-in-law, Alvin Volkmann, Irene Gades and Donna Mertz.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy O'Malley (Steve) of Faribault, Susan Markegard of Jordan and Malinda Cardenas (Mark) of Blaine; her stepson Mike Chismar of Colorado; her sister Ann Ingles of Le Sueur; her grandchildren, Nicole Casey of St. Paul, Cody O'Malley (Julie) of Faribault, Stephanie Cardenas of New Brighton, Kayla Cardenas (Jeremy Pastir) of Brooklyn Center and Kennedy Chismar of Colorado; her great grandchildren, Hunter, Hadley O'Malley and Joseph Grace; and her pet Ethel.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hope Lutheran Church (201 Hope Ave, Jordan, MN 55352). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
