He is survived by: his wife Pam (Hinkle); his children, Christopher (Jennifer Diercks), Patrick and Katie (Thijs Verschuuren); his brothers, Peter (Billy Jo) and Paul; his grandchildren, Harmon, Henry, Hazel, Elin, Arjen, Maisie, Aiden, Maddie and Lily; Daniel and Sharon.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Charlie's.

Through this work, John made a lasting contribution to the field of minimally invasive medicine.
