He is survived by : his former life partner Jacquline Phillips; his daughters, Tabitha and Tabby LeClaire (Tom) of Middle River, MN; his grandchildren, Elly and Zane LeClaire; and his sister Arlene Hegge of Barnesville, MN. He is also survived by eight stepchildren.
