He was predeceased by : his parents, Jay Spilde and Leatrice Spilde (Oien); his wife Judi Spilde (Engelstad); his brother Stuart Spilde; his parents-in-law, Bunty and Lorene Engelstad; and his brother-in-law Tom Landowski.
He is survived by : his son Corey; his daughter-in-law Shanon Spilde of Wheaton, MN; his daughter Elisabeth Spilde; his son-in-law Mike Rowe of Maple Lake, MN; his grandchildren, Reagan Spilde of Wheaton, MN, Avery Rowe, Ainsley Rowe and Grayson Rowe of Maple Lake, MN; his sister Taryn Landowski of Drayton, ND; his siblings-in-law, Ed and Linda Turn; his aunt Nona Wennersten of Grand Forks, ND; his uncle Perry Oien of Karlstad, MN; his nieces and nephews, Scott Turn (Christie) of Bemidji, MN, Jeff Turn (Lisa), East, Jessi Saylor, Kayla Sekenski (Mike) of Grand Forks, ND and Becka Landowski; his grandson Evan Saylor of Grand Forks, ND; his close friends, Wayne and Susie Koland; and his godson Nate Koland (Jordan) of Viking, MN. He is also survived by many cousins, great nieces and nephews, cherished friends, and former law enforcement partners.
