She was predeceased by : her parents, Mildred Nelson (Brekke) and Herman Nelson; her husband Gordon Grandstrand; her siblings, Eulalie Stallock (Leonard), Jeane Fredricks (Verner), Merlyn Nelson and Gayhard Nelson (Irene); and her brothers-in-law, Butch Baumgartner and Ralph Borowicz.

She is survived by : her children, Marilyn Grandstrand of Karlstad, MN, Beverly Robertson (Mark) of Argyle, MN, Vera Rowell (Terry) of Riverton, WY, Russell Grandstrand (Judy) of Stephen, MN, John Grandstrand (Denise) of Stephen, MN and Karyn Santl (Roger) of Roseau, MN; her grandchildren, Tracy Robertson, Brian Robertson (Meghan), Katherine Quail (Lucas), Evan Grandstrand (Shayne), Jake Grandstrand (Bethany), Lauren, Lindsey, Kayla Santl, Kaleb Grandstrand and Candra Vasquez; her sisters, Dorothy Borowicz and Ina Lou Baumgartner; her parents-in-law, Elaine Baker, Edythe, LouAnn and Carl Grandstrand; and her great grandchildren, Maija, Laura Robertson, Brooklyn Foss, Adley Lila Grandstrand and Alivity Romero.
