With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell Swenson of Kasota, Minnesota, who passed away on September 18, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Russell Swenson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Erich Swenson and Mildred Swenson (Gulin); and his brothers, Bruce and Eugene. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Patraw; his children, Cynthia Burkel (Steven), Sandra Drenttel (Edward), Linda Johnson and Michael Swenson (Kristin); and his sister Marcia Wurst (Jim). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (1114 W Traverse Rd, St Peter, MN 56082). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
