She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Whitney and Mildred Whitney (Steggall); and her sisters, Kay Whitney Leet and Jan Whitney. She is survived by: her husband Michael R. Nuehring; her daughters, Amanda Pappas (Andrew) and Whitney Nuehring; her grandchildren, Mia and Kellan Pappas; her brothers-in-law, Richard Leet and Donald Nuehring; her niece Kimberly Funkhouser (Jon); her nephew Todd Leet (Jennifer); and her half-sister Connie Allen Gutierrez.
