With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gary R. Smith of Kasson, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Smith and Gladys Smith (Friedrich); and his sisters, Janet Fricke and Marie Ellingson. He is survived by: his wife Carol Seever; his sons, Jamie and Jason Smith (Yvonne); his grandchildren, Julia Mortland (Lance), Alec Smith (Ally), Erika Smith, Keyan Andrew (Carlee) and Gracie Dahl (Alex); and his great grandchild Lincoln Robert Smith.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mayo Clinic Hospice in honor of Gary's life.
