He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Mittelstadt and Minnie Mittelstadt (Doering); and his siblings, David, Mary Unger and Myrna Barth.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his son Carl (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Alex Fogal (Samantha), Jett and Carli Mittelstadt; his great grandchildren, Emily of Kasson and Benjamin Fogal of Kasson; his siblings, Paul (LuAnn) of Spring Valley and Ellen Mittelstadt of Plainview; and his sister-in-law Pam Mittelstadt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
