She was predeceased by: her parents, Flavious McGrew and Laura McGrew (Hislop); her husband Garry Purvis; her siblings, Robert McGrew (Betty) and Ruth Pierce (Jerry); her parents-in-law, Lyle and Edna Purvis; and her siblings-in-law, Don Siems, Mick Davis and Sharon McGrew.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott Purvis (Deborah), Brent Purvis (Deborah) and Todd Purvis (Christine); her grandchildren, Michael Purvis (Jesslyn), Jacqueline Purvis, Laura Hoffman (Ben), Jeffrey Purvis (Britney), Mary Crump (Michael), Kelly Lame (Chris), Katie Akin, Kerri Snavlin (Brad), Mathew Purvis (Tracy), Alyssa Swanson (Jordan), Eric Purvis, Brandon Purvis and Steffanie Purvis; her siblings, Elwin McGrew (Alice), Alice Siems, Laurel Davis and Maurice McGrew (Betty Sue); and her in-laws, Sandra Starr (Dale), Ann Day (Ray) and Willis Purvis (Paula). She is also survived by thirty-four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Methodist Church (801 7th St SE, Kasson, MN 55944). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Lewy Body Dementia Association or Grace Methodist Church.
