It is with sadness that the passing of George M Lamey Jr. of Kellogg, Minnesota is shared. George, born on September 24, 1936, passed away on September 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Violet Lamey, (Wampach) and George Lamey, Sr.; his wife Rosie; his son James Lamey; his great grandchild Ella Jo Reed; and his sister Mary Lamey.
He is survived by: his children, MaryJo Schwartz (Matt Schwartz), Tony Lamey (Edna), Mike Lamey and Paul Lamey; his grandchildren, Nicole Mockchew (Shane), Rebecca Ehlinger (Jadon), Courtney Reed (Kelly) and Kayla Quick (Quin Brezinski); his great grandchildren, Paisley, Braxton and Kennedy Reed; and his pet Kobe Ross.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Agnes Catholic Church (125 W Glasgow Ave, Kellogg, MN 55945).
