We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2025, at the age of 60, John G Schurhammer of Kellogg, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry John's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May John's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sally Schurhammer (Eggenberger) and Richard Schurhammer; and his brothers, Daniel, David and Dana.
He is survived by: his children, Cory Schurhammer, Jessica Schurhammer and Courtney Olson (Tyler); and his siblings, Denise Wagner, Kara Kohner (Jon), Sarah Bronner (Dave), Shelly Thurber (Denny Wilson) and Heidi Schurhammer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Friday, January 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Abbott Funeral Home & Crematory (236 2nd St W, Wabasha, MN 55981).
