He was predeceased by : his son Jim; his parents, Ray Miller and Thea Miller; his sister Dorothy; his sister-in-law Martha Miller; and his parents-in-law, Aiden, Gertrude Norton, Janice, Bernard Lager, Pat, Anita Norton, Marilyn, Warren Blomquist and Frank Norton.

He is survived by : his children, John (Diane), Mary Bortke (Len), Cindy Maghrak (Joe), J. R. (Micki), Eugene (Mary), Dennis (Dana), Robert (Cathy), Jeannie Tulip (Tom) and Duane (Betty); his grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Brent, Aaron, MacKenzie, Courtney, Katie, Cameron, Merissa, Lauren and Logan; his great grandchild Emery; his brother Darrell Miller; his sister-in-law Rita Norton; and his wife Joyce Norton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Agnes Catholic Church or St. Agnes Cemetery.
