It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Hess of Kenneth, Minnesota, born in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, who passed away on February 13, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Kenneth Hess and Sara Hess (Ryan); and his siblings, Ronny Hess, Dennis Hess, Barbara Heyer and Lori Swezey.

He is survived by : his wife Rebecca Hess of Alexandria; his children, Paul Hess (Nicole) of St. Augusta and Emily Regnier (Paul) of Alexandria; his grandchildren, Taylor, Joe and Andrew Hess; his children, Ella, Jack and Will Regnier; and his sisters, Linda Buboltz (Leon) and Jill Nacheiner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Because of Gary's love for the game of baseball and his contributions to Amateur Baseball, Gary was inducted into the Minnesota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame in 2018.
