He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Amundson and Pearl Amundson (Davidson); his son-in-law Jeff Reiners; his grandson Sawyer Amundson; his sister Sharon Cronen (Bill); and his sister-in-law Fay Amundson.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Apol (Lonnie) of Alexandria, Kari Rood (Jeff) of Willmar, Dawn Reiners of Becker, Brent Amundson of Alexandria, Holly Bjorklund of Becker and Brady Amundson (Jenny) of Becker; his grandchildren, Amber Bugher (Jesse), Trevor Apol (Allison), Karyssa Christianson, Jaymi Magnuson (Christopher), Jaden Zaeska, Taryn Benson (Jordon), Kory Reiners (Erica), Nikki Reiners, Mackenzie Amundson, Bria Amundson, Hadley Bjorklund, Bailey Amundson and Evie Amundson; and his siblings, Virgil Amundson of Starbuck and Linda Zielsdorf (Bob) of Benson. He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren.
