She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Eckman and Hattie Eckman (Marquardt); her brother Beauford Eckman; and her great grandchild Harley Rose. She is survived by: her spouse Vernell Smith; her daughters, Susan Nelson (Wayne) of Kerkhoven and Patricia Hauge (Gordon) of Sunburg; her grandchildren, Kristian, Erika, Shannon, Courtney and Nicole; her stepgrandchildren, Christine and Jeff; her great grandchildren, Dain, Shelby, Kyla, Harper, Hunter, Hayden, Emersyn, Adele, Lucille and Kyle; her great great grandchildren, Ervin, Edwin, Rylee and Rory; her nephew Larry Eckman (Susan) of Brooklyn Park; Jean Johnson of Surprise and Reanna.
