He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Petty and Sarah Petty (Brosch); his brother Jim Petty; his sister-in-law Paula Petty; and his son-in-law Mark Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Rosann Konz of Kimball; his children, Natasha Scott of St. Joseph, Gary Petty (Rachel) of Sartell and Jenny Sadler (Joseph) of Ham Lake; and his grandchildren, Austin, Anthony, Caroline, Elizabeth, William, Ally and Colin.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anne Catholic Church (441 Hazel Ave E, Kimball, MN 55353). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
