Grattan of La Crescent, Minnesota, born in South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Delbert Atkinson and Leona Atkinson (Jachim); her sister Charlotte; her husband John Y. Grattan, Sr.; her son Mark J. Grattan; her daughter-in-law Kathy Grattan (Gielow); and her grandson Matthew Philip Grattan Pedretti.
She is survived by : her children, Mary Grattan (Mike Wikstrom) of La Crescent, MN, John Grattan, Jr. (Kay Pedretti) of Goodview, MN, Jane Mathison (Brandon) of West Salem, WI and Charles Grattan (Tara) of Hokah, MN; her grandchildren, John Y. III, Aaron, Ellie, Dusty, Kinlee and Jac; and her stepgrandchildren, Sarah, Mariya, Abby, Brandon Jr. and Anthony.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Crucifixion Church, La Crescent American Legion Post 595, or La Crescent Neighbors in Action.
