He is survived by: his wife Lois (Bleess); his children, Victoria Trailer (Todd) of Brice Prairie, Wisconsin, Roman Hund (Hilary) of St. Paul, Minnesota, Andrew Hund (Anne) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jennifer Hund (Stephen Carlsen) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Emily Dykman (Eric) of La Crescent, Minnesota and Harrison Hund (Jennifer) of La Crosse, Wisconsin.; his grandchildren, Denali Blom (Tyler), Dawson Trailer, McKinlie Trailer, Halle Hund (Jonathan Crouser), Charles Hund, Henry Hund, Finnegan Hund, Nolan Hund, Nathaniel Carlsen, Luka Vergoz, Jacob Dykman, Lucas Dykman, Eloise Dykman, Haylee Vejvoda and Jackson Hund; and his great grandchild Easton Andrew Oens.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home (111 S Oak St, La Crescent, MN 55947). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Crucifixion (423 S 2nd St, La Crescent, MN 55947).
