It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clair J. Welch of La Crescent, Minnesota, born in Waukon, Iowa, who passed away on April 14, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Welch and Venetta Welch (Waters); his siblings, Dale, Earl and Darlene; and his granddaughter Elsa.

He is survived by : his wife Jane A. Anderson; his children, Ryan (Kate), Josh (Lorinda), Molly and Megan Gibbs (Brian); his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Zach and Tula; and his siblings, Richard (Ruth), Harold and Annette Waldron (John). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
