He is survived by : his children, Neal, Peter (Leeann Gantenbein) and Colleen Gittens; the mother of his children Candy Gittens; his grandchildren, Carstin Gittens (Jessica Afman), Jessica Gittens (Kezia Wingo), Natalie Gittens and Ellinora Gittens; his great grandchild Zaiden Wingo; his siblings, Edward Gittens (Debbie), Stephanie Waldow (James), Annie Gittens, Barbara Bolanos (Raymond), Charles "Chicky" Gittens and Patty Beach (Dick); and his sister-in-law Kim Nelson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
