With sadness, we share the passing of Eunice Elaine Hepfel of La Crescent, Minnesota. Eunice, born on October 1, 1939, passed away on September 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Olson and Myrtle Olson; her brother Paul; her former husband Virgil Bjorge; her son Kalen Bjorge; and her husband Richard "Dick" Hepfel.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Schaul (Charles) of Salida, Colorado, Kevin Bjorge of Burnsville, Minnesota, Lorna Gorny (Tim) of Brainerd, Minnesota, Keith Bjorge (Jackie) of McHenry, Illinois and Susan Jandt (Tom) of Onalaska, Wisconsin.. She is also survived by her 20 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (21 N Hill St, La Crescent, MN 55947). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 2:15 PM at the Highland Prairie Lutheran Cemetery (43267 Bowl Dr, Peterson, MN 55962).
