James Friedl Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on April 23, 2026, at the age of 69, James Friedl (La Crescent, Minnesota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As James departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Friedl and Patricia Friedl (Nugent); his wife Trudy Friedl; and his brother Philip Friedl. He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Nadeau (James) of Burnsville, MN and Margaret Bramble (Steve) of Dallas Center, IA; his children, Emily Johnson (Derek) of Iron River, WI and Evan James Friedl (Katie) of La Crescent, MN; and his grandson Henry James Friedl.
