He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Zibrowski and Edna Zibrowski (Rusert); his siblings, Harold (Phyllis), Ronald, Wilfred, Leslie (Janet), Norman, Richard, Henry (Sharon) and Mae Odette (Gene); and his brothers-in-law, Gene Yanzer and Darrell Meyer.
He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Lucy Pieper Zibrowski and Brynlee Rose Tauscher; his wife Carol Jean Walter; his children, Garland Zibrowski (Wendy Hecht), Bart Zibrowski (Kay Lambrecht), Patsy Tauscher (Ted), Loran Zibrowski (Terry Dahms) and Karen Halvorson (Brian); his sister Deloros Yanzer; and his sister-in-law Maureen Zibrowski. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; and Carol's three sons.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services (200 West Ave S, La Crosse, WI 54601). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the La Crescent Area Event Center (595 Veterans Pkwy, La Crescent, MN 55947).
