He was predeceased by: his parents, George Nygaard and Edna Nygaard; his sisters, Adele Nygaard and Irene Lazar; and his brother-in-law Larry Lazar.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Schlosser (Russ), Mike Nygaard (Sherry), Matt Nygaard (Alexander On) and John Nygaard (Jenny); and his sister Judy Nygaard. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethel Lutheran Church (915 Main St, Hawkins, WI 54530). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
