Ruth Alice Proksch Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Alice Proksch of La Crescent, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 3, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ideker and Pearl Ideker. She is survived by: her husband William "Bill"; her children, Sheri Nichols (Blaine) and Kurt Proksch; her grandsons, Julian Smith (Christina) and Seth Smith (Meghan); her stepgrandchildren, Dalton Nichols (Jackie) and Alison Nichols; her great grandchildren, Adley, Triton, Lyla, Macie, Dawsyn, Lennyn and Weston; her siblings, Phyllis Buchner, Delmer Ideker (Dorothy), Arliss Seymour (David) and Kathy Fitzpatrick; and her sisters-in-law, Letha Ideker and Jean Ideker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
