With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald James Dietl in Lafayette, Minnesota, who passed away on October 6, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ronald James Dietl to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert S. Dietl and Guinevere Dietl; his son Timothy Dietl; and his sister Rita Archer. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Dietl; his son Michael Dietl (LeAnn); his stepchildren, Sara Babl (Todd), Jacqui McElroy (Pat), Rachel Swenson (Kris), Bill Miller and Chuck Miller (Dawn); and his siblings, Gregory Dietl (Lee McCaig), Teresa Lilja (Duane) and Kathy Grover (Jeff). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; one great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crystal Lake Cemetery Chapel (3816 N Penn Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55412). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Croix Hospice or Pride TLC.
