He was predeceased by: his parents, Werner Youngblom and Esther Youngblom (Johnson); his wife Shirley Youngblom; and his siblings, Maynard Youngblom and Vivian Altman.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Akins (Peter) of Mankato, MN, Alan Youngblom (Marlene) of Lafayette, MN and Lori Thronson (Mike) of Rochester, MN; his grandchildren, Joel Thronson (Vivian), Ashley Thronson and Cindi Thronson; and his sister Elaine Hermanson of Nicollet, MN. He is also survived by Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
