She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Zimmerman and Margaret Zimmerman (Stelling). She is survived by: her husband Robert Kackmann of John's Lutheran Church; and her children, Diane Wurst (John) and Dale Kackmann (Renae) of Lake City. She is also survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schleicher Funeral Homes, Lake City Chapel (1865 US-61, Lake City, MN 55041). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (520 W Chestnut St, Lake City, MN 55041).
