He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Carlson and Phoebe Carlson; and his brother Kenneth Carlson. He is survived by: his sisters, Melanie Jantzen-Kulp and Jeanne Mortensen; his children, Carol DiFrancesco (Eric), Joy Carlson and Charles Carlson (Kim); his grandchildren, Eli Carlson, Noel DiFrancesco, Owen Carlson, Reece DiFrancesco and Chloe DiFrancesco; and his wife Caren Clare Brunkow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Rockpoint Church.
