He was predeceased by : his parents, Lester McCarthy and Mary Margaret McCarthy (Regan); his former life partner Marie McCarthy (Bushey); his sister Margaret Norris (Mickey); and his grandchildren, Claire Annabelle Keogh and Rory Gavic.
He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth Jacobson (Liz); his children, Paul McCarthy, Anne McCarthy (Erik Sikveland), Brian McCarthy (Pat Lund), Jean Cadle, Shelia Barth (Mark) and Carol Keogh (John); his grandchildren, Charlie, Carl, Madison, Connor, Delaney, Patrick, Sophia, Nicholas, Charles, Hannah and Bailey; his stepchildren, JP Jacobson (Megan), Sarah Fritz (Jacob) and Steven Jacobson (Karin); and his grandchildren, Aurora, Erik, Henry, Elizabeth and Katherine.
