He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Dick, Mary Case, Hilda and David Webb; his uncle Richard Case Jr.; his stepfather Steven River Gurtin; and his cousin Luke Kulseth.
He is survived by: his mother Diana S. Case-Gurtin; his children, Eliana and Cullen III; the mother of his children Jodi Case; his wife Stephanie Watson; his father Cullen Case Sr.; and his siblings, Beth Pontrelli (Frank), Curtis Jones (Celia) and Matt Jones (Leslie). He is also survived by family members and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bradshaw Celebration (2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater, MN 55082). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. As an NMDP volunteer courier, he ensured that life-saving stem cell transplants reached patients, no matter the circumstances, traveling through hurricanes, snowstorms, and even a global pandemic to fulfill his mission.
