Kathryn Roberts Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Roberts of Lake Elmo, Minnesota, who passed away on August 14, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kathryn Roberts to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Roberts and Bonita Roberts (Bonnie). She is survived by : her husband James Hiniker (Jim); her siblings, Sarah Campbell (John) and John Roberts (Anne); her daughter Alexandra Hausler (Kiel); her stepsons, Jay (Betsy) and Micheal Hiniker (Kerri); and her stepmother Marilyn Roberts. She is also survived by six grandchildren.

A celebration of life will take place at a time when COVID is no longer a serious crisis.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Kathryn's memory to the Minnesota Zoo or the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota.

“To my friends; John and Sarah, I was saddened and shocked to hear of the passing of Kathryn. I first met Ray, Kathryn, John and Sarah in the fall of 1968 when our family moved to Shoreview. John introduced Kathryn to me and I was smitten. I wanted to "chase" her but our ages made that somewhat hard. I tried to impress Kathryn several times but didn't always have the desired effect. I will miss her smile, hugs, and good ear to listen and give useful advice. Don Stevenson”
