He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Paul, Sr. Pallmeyer and Mamie Pallmeyer (Mueller); his wife Ruth Marie Schrieber; his brother Luther; his sister-in-law Gladys Pallmeyer; and his grandson Samuel Miller.

He is survived by: his children, Barbara Miller (William), Thomas Pallmeyer (Carol Phillips), Rebecca Pallmeyer (Dan McAdams), Dwight Pallmeyer, Sara Nelson-Pallmeyer (Jack) and Lois Pallmeyer (John Barnicle); his grandchildren, Adam Miller (Jennifer), Aaron Miller (Amanda Hakemian), Kristen Pallmeyer (Jake Jackson) and Alyssa Pallmeyer (Joel Thomas-Mazyck); his great grandchildren, Zoe, Emily, Henry, Caleb, Anne Miller, Everett, Quinten Bauer, Sullivan and Lumi Betker; his granddaughter-in-law Angela Miller; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Pohland and Margaret Schrieber. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
