We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2024, at the age of 83, Robert Norman Gilbert (Lake Elmo, Minnesota), born in Hudson, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Gilbert and Mary Gilbert. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Steinke (Tom), Missy and Craig (Stephanie); his grandsons, Stephen Steinke (Katie) and Mark Steinke; his siblings, Jerry (Sue), Harry (Linda) and Bonnie Aubin; and his significant other Kathleen Remus. He is also survived by his family and many friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Lake Elmo INN Event Center (3712 Layton Ave N, Lake Elmo, MN 55042).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
