He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Knudson and Lillian Knudson (Helgeson); and his sister Jean. He is survived by: his children, Shawn, Doug, Kim and Ronda; his stepsons, Don and Greg; and his wife Shirley Qualley. He is also survived by four children, two stepchildren, 16 grandchildren, as well as great-grandchildren, extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home - Hawley (404 Leonard St, Hawley, MN 56549). A memorial service was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
