We bid farewell to Margie D. Westlund (Lake Park, Minnesota), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 7, 2025 at the age of 89. Margie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Crabtree and Violet Crabtree; her husband Marvin Westlund; her brothers, Lonnie Crabtree and Vern Crabtree; and her siblings-in-law, Duane Westlund, Tom West, Tom Leitheiser, Richard Westlund, James Keeping, Merle Sagan, Don Syvertson, Dorothy Crabtree, Arvilla West, Ardis Syvertson, Penny Westlund and Delores Evenson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Anderson (Glenn), Lori Buhaug (John) and Barb Harrison (Tim Harrison); her grandchildren, Chris Anderson, Will Anderson (Kali), Scott Anderson, Glenn Anderson Jr., Karly Buhaug (TJ Houle), Kristynn Doran (Brady) of Pine River, MN, Griffin Harrison of Fargo, ND, Sam Harrison of Fargo, ND and Turner Harrison (Grace Friesen) of Detroit Lakes, MN; her great grandchildren, Warren and Vivian Anderson of Hawley, MN; her siblings, Marilyn Leitheiser and Ron Crabtree (Bonnie) of Detroit Lakes, MN; and her sisters-in-law, Janet Crabtree of Hawley, MN, Phyllis Sagen of Lake Park, MN and Arlette Westlund of Detroit Lakes, MN.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home and Cremation Service- Hawley And (404 Leonard St, Hawley, MN 56549). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at the Park Lutheran Church Cemetery (29464 78th Ave S, Hawley, MN 56549).
