He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Nielsen and Martha Pouwe Nielsen. He is survived by: his wife Marlys Nielsen of Lake Wilson, MN; his son Lonnie Nielsen of Iona, MN; his granddaughter Jasmine Nokes of Pipestone, MN; and his siblings, Dennis (Lynn Nielsen), Darlene (Ken Satted), Delores Baarber of Hendricks, MN, Carl (Stacy Nielsen), Darrel Nielsen (Tammy Rogers), Betty (Kevin Van Laar) and Barbara (Mike Langner). He is also survived by several in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (450 Carrie Ave, Lake Wilson, MN 56151). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
