With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlin J Mattison of Lakefield, Minnesota, who passed away on August 5, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnerd Mattison and Leona Mattison; and his siblings, Myron Mattison (Lois), Dennis Mattison (Marjorie) and Luetta Engen (James).
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Mattison of Lakefield; his children, Julie Winter (Tom) of Elysian, Carmen Hohensee (Steve) of Worthington and Waylan Mattison (Stacie) of Mapleton; his grandchildren, Brandon Winter (Robyn), Aaron Winter (Annie), Jordan Winter (Joee), Jackie Morrison (Travis), Kyle Hohensee, Nolan Mattison (Kaleigh Yttreness), Hayden Mattison and Alayna Mattison; his great grandchildren, Xander, Wyatt, Amelia, Josiah, Maxwell, Lauryn, Signe, Anja, Summer, Daly, Dominic, Trae and Ryder; and his sister Janet Hochstein (Jerry) of Windom. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church-Lakefield (401 7th Ave N, Lakefield, MN 56150). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
