She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Trosin and Vivian Trosin (Brown); her husband Vernon Bretzman; and her son Joel Bretzman. She is survived by: her son Aaron Bretzman (Holly); her grandchildren, Alex Bretzman, Brody Jensen, Kayden Elmore (Bryce), Avery Jensen and Logan Bretzman; her great grandchildren, Tate Elmore and Hayes Elmore; her siblings, Paul "Butch" Trosin (Ruth), Gary Trosin (Diane) and Linda Takkunen (Gene); and her siblings-in-law, Nancy Bretzman, Maxine Bretzman and Dick Erdman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (401 7th Ave N, Lakefield, MN 56150). A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorial donations are preferred.
